The event took place on the occasion of the Minsk City Delegation of the Public Association “Belarusian Women's Union” visiting and working in Ho Chi Minh City, and on the occasion of the 50th Anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025).
The event contributes to widely promoting to the people of Vietnam and Belarus about the culture, country and people of the two nations, while promoting the cooperative relationship between Vietnam and Belarus, developing comprehensively and sustainably.

The exhibition "Beauty of Vietnamese and Belarusian women" includes 20 photos of Belarusian women, 23 photos of Vietnamese women, and 38 photos of Vietnamese Heroic Mothers.
Speaking at the opening of the exhibition, Ms. Pham Thi Thanh Hien, President of the Ho Chi Minh City Women's Union, said that this is a very special occasion for us to come together to honor and admire the wonderful beauty of women from the two countries of Vietnam and Belarus.
The exhibition introduces to the public images representing mothers who silently sacrificed to send their husbands and children to the battlefield; women with gentle beauty but extremely resilient in the resistance war; dynamic and creative women in the renovation period, who have made many contributions in many areas of social life, contributing to the construction and development of the country.

“I believe that from the vivid and authentic images in today's exhibition, the friendly and cooperative relationship between women of the two countries will be nurtured and increasingly developed,” Ms. Pham Thi Thanh Hien added.
The exhibition will take place until May 1 at Ho Chi Minh City Book Street.
