At exactly 3:38 PM (local time), the special aircraft carrying General Secretary To Lam and his wife, along with the high-level Vietnamese delegation, landed at Minsk Airport. Welcoming General Secretary To Lam and his wife and the high-level Vietnamese delegation on their state visit to the Republic of Belarus at the airport were, on the Belarusian side, Deputy Prime Minister Anatoly Sivak; Minister of Foreign Affairs Maxim Ryzhenkov; and Ambassador of the Republic of Belarus to Vietnam Uladzimir Baravikou; on the Vietnamese side, Ambassador of Vietnam to Belarus Nguyen Van Ngu; staff of the Vietnamese Embassy; and members of the Vietnamese community in Belarus.
Minsk Airport was adorned with the national flags of both countries. General Secretary To Lam and his wife disembarked from the plane, and a Belarusian girl presented the First Lady with a bouquet of fresh flowers. Following traditional protocol, the two Belarusian girls respectfully offered General Secretary To Lam and his wife bread and salt. Next, the General Secretary and his wife shook hands with officials from Belarus and Vietnam, then walked between two rows of honor guards standing at attention.
Immediately after landing at the airport, General Secretary To Lam and his wife, along with the high-ranking Vietnamese delegation, laid flowers at the Victory Monument; attended a gratitude activity, visited and presented gifts to veterans and experts who had made outstanding contributions to Vietnam...

Since establishing diplomatic relations in 1992, Vietnam and Belarus have maintained and developed a traditional friendship and multifaceted cooperation with increasing political trust. The two sides regularly exchange delegations, especially high-level delegations, creating a foundation for nurturing and developing a close relationship that has stood the test of time.
The two sides have developed cooperation in many areas, from defense and security to economy and trade, culture, education, science and technology, people-to-people exchanges, and local-level cooperation. They have established a legal framework comprising approximately 50 documents, including international treaties or agreements between ministries and agencies. Nine Vietnamese provinces have established friendly relations and cooperation with six out of the seven provincial-level administrative units of Belarus. On the international stage, the two countries regularly consult with and support each other in multilateral forums and mechanisms.

For over 30 years, Vietnam and Belarus have built, nurtured, and developed a traditional friendship and good cooperation based on trust, equality, and mutual respect for the benefit of the people of both countries, creating a foundation for even closer and more positive interaction in all fields.
The visit of General Secretary To Lam and his wife, along with the high-level Vietnamese delegation, will create new momentum for strengthening and expanding bilateral relations, and provide directions for further deepening the good relationship between the two countries.
