Through the exhibition, people will better understand the history of Vietnam's revolutionary press, the history of Quang Ninh press, which is closely linked to the heroic milestones of the nation's history. Mr. Nguyen Hong Du, a resident of Bach Dang ward (Ha Long city), shared: I am very proud that the locality organized such a meaningful exhibition. The exhibition not only recreates the arduous but glorious development path of Vietnam's revolutionary press, but also helps viewers feel the important role of the press in the struggle for independence and national construction. I am particularly impressed with the display of old newspapers and the images of journalists working through the ages. This is a great opportunity for the younger generation to better understand the value of authentic information and the social responsibility of journalists.
At the Exhibition, there are many valuable artifacts associated with the historical process of the Vietnamese revolutionary press, as well as the Quang Ninh press. The artifacts are newspapers and articles recording important historical events of the country, which have been carefully preserved and stored. In addition, there are radio and television broadcasting machines and equipment prepared by the Provincial Media Center, which have accompanied the milestones of formation and development of Quang Ninh province, such as: Microphones that honored to record Uncle Ho's voice on the occasions when he visited Quang Ninh; camera taking photos of Lieutenant An-ve-ret, the first American pilot captured alive by the army and people of Quang Ninh in the first battle on August 5, 1964; loudspeakers of the former Soviet Union equipped for Hon Gai town in 1972...
Mr. Nguyen Quy Binh, a tourist from Hai Phong City, shared: This is the first time I have visited a large-scale and historically valuable press exhibition like this. The exhibition not only helps me understand more about the formation and development of Vietnam's revolutionary press, but also arouses national pride in each historical period. The documents, images, and artifacts are displayed very vividly, arranged scientifically , and are easy to access. I am impressed with the old newspaper pages that still retain the ink and yellowed paper - like a living witness to history. This is truly a meaningful activity, especially for the young generation and those who love history.
The exhibition is a historical page, simulated very elaborately, professionally and modernly, not only introducing information but also inspiring the younger generation. Attending this exhibition, students of Ha Long University had the opportunity to learn more, be more proud of their profession, as well as the opportunity to exchange experiences with great journalists. Tran Thi Cam Ly, a student of Literature-Journalism-Communication, Faculty of Education, Ha Long University, said: I was very surprised to see many historical artifacts of journalism. There are many artifacts that I have never seen before in today's journalism era. Not only that, I also heard the professional stories of former journalists when working on the battlefield, along with extremely valuable experiences that made us feel very small, needing to try to improve our knowledge a lot to be ready to bring readers the most truthful, vivid and fastest information.
As for Pham Khanh Linh, a student of Literature-Journalism-Communication, Faculty of Pedagogy, said: The exhibition is very unique and interesting, impressing with many display spaces. When seeing old pictures, articles and artifacts such as typewriters and old newspaper printers, I feel the hard work and dedication of journalists in bringing information to the people. I especially like the area displaying old newspapers - they help me visualize Vietnamese life and society through each period. Through the exhibition, I understand more about the important role of Quang Ninh press in accompanying the development of the province. This exhibition not only brings historical knowledge but also makes me love journalism more and understand the value of accurate and timely information in life.
In addition to learning about the history of journalism and admiring the artifacts, locals and tourists especially enjoy experiencing the Virtual Reality Studio area. The Virtual Reality Studio simulates a miniature studio, with a professional, modern perspective often used in news bulletins, weather forecasts, etc. This area is invested in and carefully prepared with modern equipment and machinery from the Quang Ninh Provincial Media Center. Many locals and tourists have the opportunity to try being a reporter to host a live program, experiencing all the emotions of excitement and joy when interacting with virtual reality graphics. Ms. Nguyen Thuy An, a tourist from Thai Binh province, said: I am very lucky to have the opportunity to attend the Exhibition in Quang Ninh. Being "on camera" directly makes me very excited but also very nervous. Now I understand the feelings of the editors and admire the courage of the program hosts even more. Not only that, I also got to learn the process of making modern news, which was a truly memorable experience.
At Quang Ninh Museum, the exhibition lasts until May 27 and is completely free to serve the people and tourists to visit and learn. The exhibition is also an extremely attractive tourism product, bringing not only knowledge but also memorable practical experiences.
