Exhibition "Belarus Through the Eyes of an Artist"

On the afternoon of May 24th, the exhibition "Belarus Through the Eyes of Artists" opened at the Ho Chi Minh City Museum, showcasing paintings by renowned contemporary Belarusian artists.

The exhibition is part of the Belarusian Culture Days in Vietnam, organized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism (MOCST) in collaboration with the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Belarus, held in Ho Chi Minh City and Ba Ria-Vung Tau province from May 24 to 27, 2023.

The exhibition features 31 paintings depicting the unique landscapes and culture of Belarus by renowned young artists from the Belarusian Artists' Association and the Belarusian National Academy of Arts.

The Belarusian Culture Days in Vietnam in 2023 included art performances, cultural and artistic exhibitions, and a visit and working trip to Vietnam by a delegation from the Belarusian Ministry of Culture.

The opening ceremony of the Belarusian Culture Days in Vietnam and the art performance program took place at the City Theater on the evening of May 24th; an art performance program was held at the Ba Ria - Vung Tau Provincial Cultural Center on the evening of May 25th; an exhibition of landscape paintings by famous young Belarusian artists with the theme "Belarus through the eyes of an artist" took place at the Ho Chi Minh City Museum from May 24th to 27th…

Earlier, on the afternoon of May 24th in Ho Chi Minh City, Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Ta Quang Dong received a delegation of leaders from the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Belarus, led by Deputy Minister VIGromada.

During the meeting, Deputy Minister Ta Quang Dong stated that Vietnam and Belarus have a long-standing tradition of good relations in all fields, including culture and arts. The Vietnamese people always remember the sincere assistance of the Belarusian people in the resistance war for independence, freedom, and national reunification, as well as in the construction and development of the country.

Currently, the traditional friendship between Vietnam and Belarus is developing rapidly. Cooperation between Vietnam and Belarus in the political , economic, cultural, and social fields is being increasingly consolidated and strengthened. The two sides have exchanged views on cooperation in the fields of culture and arts, and education and training between Vietnam and Belarus.
