While collecting firewood, discovered drugs drifting ashore on the shore of Nam Cua Viet beach.

At 11:00 a.m. today (November 19), Trieu Van Border Guard Station received a report from Mr. Nguyen Van Hoa (born in 1987, residing in Ha Tay village, Nam Cua Viet commune, Quang Tri province) that while collecting firewood along the beach, he discovered a plastic bag containing many small packages suspected to be drugs.

Immediately after receiving the information, Trieu Van Border Guard Station sent forces to protect the scene.

At the beach with coordinates 16°53'47''N - 107°12'19''E, in Ha Tay village, the authorities seized a large plastic bag containing 10 small bags (8 blue bags, 2 pink bags, with the letter A printed on the surface; each bag measures 6.5 x 9 cm).

Inside the small bags were pink tablets that were wet, soft and mixed together, the quantity could not be counted, suspected to be synthetic drugs. The total weight seized was about 300g (weight including packaging and mixed beach sand).

Currently, Trieu Van Border Guard Station has made a record of receiving information about the crime and is investigating, verifying, and handling it according to legal regulations.

Trieu Van Border Guard Station calls on people to promptly report any strange objects to the unit or local authorities for handling.
