VAR referee class students practice live situations

After 2 intensive training sessions, passing the theoretical and practical contents in the LAB (Laboratory), 19 professional and non-professional referees and assistant referees entered the final training phase: practicing on the field with simulated situations of increasing difficulty, from short situations of 10 minutes, 30 minutes to a full 90-minute match.

This training is taught by the VFF Referee Board; FIFA instructors monitor remotely through daily video recordings, then evaluate the learning process of each Referee, score them and make the final decision on whether or not to grant a certificate to officiate at matches with VAR.
