The midfielder, born in 2000, created a few chances but failed to capitalize on them. Although he only played for 45 minutes, Hai Long left a strong impression in the eyes of the international media.

ESPN (USA) gave Hai Long 7.5 points in this match. This is the second highest score on the field after Australian center back Harrison Delbridge. The Hanoi FC player was given a higher score than all Man Utd players.

Commenting on Hai Long's performance, ESPN wrote: "While Patiwat and Delbridge shone in defense, Hai Long was the one who brought excitement to the fans in the first 45 minutes.

In the 6th minute, Hai Long had a shot towards Man Utd. In the rest of the first half, this player continued to torment Man Utd defenders. Hai Long possesses great speed and a skillful playing style. He really gave Ayden Heaven a headache trying to find a way to neutralize him. Hai Long could have scored or assisted in this match if he had handled it better.

The other three players of the Vietnamese team, Nguyen Hoang Duc, Nguyen Van Vi and Do Duy Manh, all had quite good performances.

Hoang Duc was rated 6.5 with the rating: “One of the most technical midfielders in the Southeast Asian All-Star team. Hoang Duc was the perfect replacement for Sandro Reyes after the break. The midfielder played a key role in the team's ability to launch attacks. He made many passes through the lines and could have created clear chances if he had passed the ball more accurately.”

Duy Manh was also given a score of 6.5. ESPN commented: “The experience of Duy Manh, a two-time AFF Cup champion, helped the Southeast Asian All-Stars’ defense stand firm in the final moments of the match.”

The remaining player of the Vietnamese team, Van Vi, was also given 6.5 points, along with the comment: “Van Vi has shown his ability in more than 30 minutes on the field. This player is one of the important links in the counter-attacking game. Van Vi is a late bloomer of the Vietnamese team but is the first choice on the left wing.”
