Regiment 196 grants funds to build Comrades' Houses for soldiers in difficult circumstances

On June 12, at Nhu Xuan 2 village, Vinh Phuong commune, Nha Trang city, the 196th Naval Regiment coordinated with local authorities to inaugurate and hand over the Comrades House to soldiers in difficult circumstances. Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Tran Thanh - Deputy Political Commissar of the Regiment attended and presented the support funds.

Representatives of the unit and locality presented the comrades' house symbol to the family of Major Nguyen Van Chi.

The unit representative presented funding to support the construction of a Comrades' House to the family of professional military Major Nguyen Van Chi - a staff member of the unit's Political Department. The house has a usable area of ​​nearly ^100m2 , with a total construction cost of more than 500 million VND. Of which, the unit supported 80 million VND, drawn from the Fund for the Poor of the Navy; the remaining amount was donated by relatives, comrades and the family's savings.

At the ceremony, Regiment 196 and local authorities presented Major Nguyen Van Chi's family with some essential items in life.
