In 2024, the 974th Infantry Regiment was assigned to receive and train 264 new soldiers. In the first 6 months of the year, the regiment undertook many important tasks, in which the unit identified training new soldiers as a key task. After 3 months of training and practice, with a spirit of solidarity, unity, and proactively overcoming difficulties, the regiment successfully completed the task of training new soldiers, ensuring absolute safety in all aspects. 100% of new soldiers successfully completed the training content and program according to regulations. Through the end-of-training inspection, for the AK shooting content, lesson 1, 89.3% met the requirements, of which 61% were good and excellent; for the explosives content, lesson 1, 99% were good; for the grenade throwing content, lesson 1, 97.5% met the requirements, of which 82.5% were good and excellent; In swimming, 100% of soldiers knew how to swim, of which 71.9% achieved good or excellent results. Each soldier had mastered the technical movements, tactics, and commands and had clearly matured in all aspects; demonstrated a steadfast and steady political stance, ready to receive and complete well all assigned tasks.
