Wu Qian stressed that with the consensus of the two heads of state, on the basis of equality and respect, the two countries will resume high-level military communication, China-US defense policy coordination negotiations, meetings of the China-US Military Maritime Consultative Agreement and conduct phone calls between battlefield commanders. The Chinese military is willing to cooperate with its US counterpart to promote healthy and stable China-US military relations.

In addition, Mr. Wu Qian confirmed that President Xi Jinping and President Joe Biden discussed and agreed on more than 20 goals in various fields, a move that is a sign of the healthy, stable and sustainable development of China-US relations.
