On May 12, the Danang Center for Research and Training in Microchip Design and Artificial Intelligence (DSAC, Danang High-Tech Park and Industrial Zones Management Board) coordinated with the Ho Chi Minh City High-Tech Park and Industrial Zones Management Board to organize the professional evaluation round of the 2nd Smart Urban Microchip Design Competition - Central region.
The professional evaluation round had the participation of 15 teams from universities in the Central region. These teams passed the preliminary round and completed a 1-month intensive training program on microchip design. The content of the competing teams focused on microchip application solutions in smart cities, sustainable green cities, Internet of Things (IoT), energy, environment and transportation.
The jury will select the three best teams to participate in the national final round, scheduled to take place in Ho Chi Minh City on May 19, 2025. On this occasion, representatives of the DSAC Center and the Management Board of the High-Tech Park and Industrial Parks of Ho Chi Minh City will exchange a memorandum of understanding on cooperation to enhance connectivity in the fields of high technology, semiconductors, and artificial intelligence in the coming time.
