'You are Ho Chi Minh' - An epic art piece depicting the great portrait of Uncle Ho

The event was directed by the Central Propaganda Department and the Central Mass Mobilization Department, in coordination with Vietnam Television, Hanoi People's Committee, Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum Protection Command and art units. The program was broadcast live on VTV1 and rebroadcast on central and local television stations and digital platforms.

With a grand scale, elaborate staging combining traditional performing arts and modern technology, the program is not only an artistic performance but also a spiritual journey - taking the audience back in time to meet the image of the great leader through each historical stage of the nation.

The program is divided into 3 main segments: “Nguyen Sinh Cung – Nguyen Tat Thanh”: Depicting the childhood and cultural and family foundation that shaped Uncle Ho’s great personality. “Nguyen Ai Quoc – Ho Chi Minh ”: Recreating the journey of searching for a way to save the country, establishing the Party, and steering the Vietnamese revolutionary boat to gain national independence. “Vietnam! The Era of Rising”: Affirming the mark of the Ho Chi Minh era – a brilliant era of independence, freedom, aspiration for development and integration.

Interwoven between precious documentary footage, emotional stage scenes and elaborately staged musical performances are the sacred gratitude of millions of Vietnamese hearts towards Him - the beloved Father of the nation.

Not only an art program, “You are Ho Chi Minh” is also a call to move people’s hearts – arousing patriotism, noble ideals and the aspiration to build a prosperous and powerful country, especially in the hearts of today’s young generation.

The art program "You are Ho Chi Minh" is organized and reported live from the historic Ba Dinh Square.

The program was elaborately staged, uniquely combining historical documents, animations and modern musical performances, strongly inspiring millions of Vietnamese people.

Recreating the portrait of the cloth hero Nguyen Tat Thanh (President Ho Chi Minh in his youth) during his journey across the world, searching for a way to save the country.

Thousands of spectators braved the rain to watch the special art program "You are Ho Chi Minh".

With a duration of 85 minutes, the program is elaborately staged with three main segments, depicting the image of Uncle Ho as close, simple but profound.

From the lullabies by the Lam River in his mother's hometown, to the image of a young man leaving Nha Rong Wharf to find a way to save the country, then becoming an international communist soldier, founder of the Party, leader of the Vietnamese revolution, a symbol of the desire for peace, independence, and freedom.

Many performances left a special impression, such as the scene “Father and Son for a Great Cause” (excerpt from the play “Debt to the Country”), the songs “Footprints in the Front”, “Singing in the Pac Bo Forest”, or the medley “Uncle Ho’s Advice Before Leaving”… moved the audience to tears.

Closing with the song “Ho Chi Minh Song”, the program left a deep echo in the hearts of viewers - as a sacred gratitude and a strong call for today's generation to continue the glorious Ho Chi Minh era.
