Dedicated, enthusiastic and responsible frontline cadres

Keeping in mind Uncle Ho's teaching "The older you are, the higher your ambition", Mr. Nguyen Thien Bao, 67 years old, Head of the Front Work Committee, Huu Thu 2 residential group, Kim Long town (Tam Duong), is always exemplary, practicing what he preaches, and is dedicated and responsible in the activities of the front and residential area.

Mr. Bao said: “In response to patriotic emulation movements, my family and I are always the first to participate. For example, when the town started building bright, green, clean, and beautiful roads, my family voluntarily donated 19 square meters of residential land to expand the alleys; or when supporting the Fund for the Poor, supporting people in flood and natural disaster areas, I was also the first to support.

For front cadres, exemplary spirit is very important. To gain the trust and support of the people, front cadres must be pioneers and leaders in all activities, and at the same time, regularly engage, listen, share, and grasp the thoughts and aspirations of the people to promptly inform the Party Committee and the government. From there, they can gather the masses and build strong solidarity in residential areas.

Exemplary and responsible, Mr. Bao always receives high response, solidarity and unity from the people in mobilizing and implementing movements. In 2024, to build bright, green, clean and beautiful roads, the people of Huu Thu 2 residential group contributed more than 25 million VND and many working days to paint more than 100 murals, clear, expand, plant trees and flowers along 3 roads with a length of more than 1.2km; buy and install solar lighting at 300m on bright, green, clean and beautiful roads.

For comrade Nguyen Thap Nhi, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dong Tam Ward (Vinh Yen), studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style is concretized through tasks and solutions that bring practical effectiveness in caring for people's lives.

Comrade Nhi, together with the Fatherland Front Committee of Dong Tam Ward and the Front Working Committee of residential groups, actively mobilized organizations and individuals to support the Fund for the Poor, support activities, give gifts to the poor, people in difficult circumstances, build solidarity houses to support poor and near-poor households with housing difficulties, contributing to sustainable poverty reduction.

Over the past 5 years, the Fatherland Front Committee of Dong Tam Ward has mobilized more than 288 million VND to support the "For the Poor" Fund; together with the support of the province and city, it has supported more than 374 million VND for 6 poor households to build houses; provided emergency support for those in difficult circumstances, those suffering from serious illnesses, and those who have had accidents with more than 144 million VND; and annually presented hundreds of gifts to poor, near-poor, and disadvantaged households on the occasion of Lunar New Year and the National Great Unity Day.

With the active participation of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee at all levels in mobilizing, calling for support and active poverty reduction measures of the locality, every year, the rate of cultural families in Dong Tam ward increases; the rate of poor and near-poor households decreases. Up to now, Dong Tam ward has only 25 poor households (accounting for 0.13%), more than 95% of households have achieved cultural families, people's lives have been significantly improved.

Implementing Directive No. 05 of the Politburo on "Promoting the study and following of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle" and directives and resolutions of the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee has linked the study and following of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle with the implementation of the Resolutions of the Party Congress, the Resolutions of the Fatherland Front Congresses at all levels and the directives, resolutions and conclusions of the Central Committee; promoting the dissemination of the basic contents of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle and the creative application of Ho Chi Minh's ideology in all fields and tasks of the Front. Thereby creating a strong and profound change in self-awareness, self-cultivation, training and following of Uncle Ho among the Front cadres.

Imbued with Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style, the front cadres in the province have increasingly raised their awareness of self-cultivation, training, responsibility, setting an example in carrying out political tasks, campaigns, patriotic emulation movements, effectively resolving pressing social issues that the people are concerned about. From there, the position and prestige of the front with the Party, government and people have been constantly enhanced.
