The Russian Military Review website reported that the assault units of the Russian Army Group Center (RFAF) have made significant progress south of the Myrnohrad urban area and the Zapadnyi district of Pokrovsk. The Ukrainian Army (AFU) is retreating under pressure towards the center of Pokrovsk urban area and is unable to escape the encirclement. Currently, about 1,000 Ukrainian troops, from two or three AFU brigades, are trapped in the Myrnohrad urban area. They cannot break out, despite repeated attempts. However, units of the 51st Army of the RFAF Group Center are surrounding them from all sides.
The day before, there was information about a breakthrough of Russian troops from the village of Rivne, as well as attacks starting from the village of Chervonyi Lyman (Russian name: Krasnyi Liman) on the Myrnohrad urban area. Ukrainian troops in Myrnohrad hoped to break through in the direction of the town of Rodinske, but it was completely unsuccessful. Now the Ukrainian troops are completely on the defensive, while the Russian troops are on the offensive. It is noteworthy that the Russian tactical aviation is actively operating on the Pokrovsk front, using heavy bombs FAB-3000 to attack targets in the Myrnohrad urban area. Once a day, FAB-3000 is deployed against the most fortified areas, immediately reducing the enemy's resistance. Moscow has offered the remaining Ukrainian forces in Myrnohrad a surrender to survive, according to the Military Summary channel. However, the Ukrainian army is still fiercely resisting, despite the tightening encirclement and the difficulty of escaping. ZOV Military channel also reported that RFAF assault units had broken through enemy strongholds and entered the Mirnograd urban area from the direction of the Rivne settlement. This attack threatened to completely block the escape route of the Ukrainian troops surrounded in the Myrnohrad urban area. Meanwhile, Russian forward positions in the residential area of the town of Rodinske (north of Mirnograd) were attacked by Ukrainian troops. This indirectly confirmed that the RFAF had successfully expanded its control zone in the residential area by 1km and seized new positions north of the city.
Rybar channel reported that in the Udachne area west of Pokrovsk, despite fierce resistance from the AFU, the RFAF entered the area of mine No. 1 and occupied new positions in production facilities. Udachne is Ukraine's No. 1 coal mine in Pokrovsk. The Archangel of Special Forces channel has just published its latest assessment of the collapse of the Ukrainian defense in the Mirnograd metropolitan area. Accordingly, the fate of the Ukrainian defense in Pokrovsk - Mirnograd is rapidly becoming catastrophic. RFAF announced the expansion of control in the northwest, advancing to the south of the village of Gryshyne. The active breakthroughs of the shock units of the 51st Army of the RFAF Center Group into the north of Mirnograd starting from Chervonyi Lyman, practically deprived the Ukrainian troops of an important source of logistical supplies on this route. Currently, the logistics of the AFU troops stationed in the Myrnohrad urban area are provided only by heavy multi-axis UAVs, but most of them have been shot down. They also cannot evacuate the wounded, causing many to die due to lack of support.
Thanks to the successes in the Pokrovsk metropolitan area and the lack of concentrated enemy counterattacks, Russian units in the forward positions went into temporary defense. At present, the only counterattacks that the AFU General Staff hoped for were from the village of Belitske in the direction of Sukhetske and Rodinske, as well as in the Udachne area. Readovka reported that the AFU had repeatedly tried to attack Udachne with small assault groups, but they had largely failed to meet expectations. Meanwhile, north of Pokrovsk, the RFAF was also advancing from Poltavka, reaching the outskirts of Sofiyivka, bordering Toretskoye, gaining positions along the road east of the village. According to Suriyakmaps, on the Mirnograd and Pokrovsk fronts, over the past two days, the RFAF has taken complete control of the adjacent residential areas north of Pokrovsk. The city is now under full Russian control, but an official announcement will not be made until the operation is over and there are no Ukrainian soldiers left in the encirclement. In addition, the RFAF continues to advance eastward along the railway line and the Rivne area (largely captured), allowing them to advance into the Brianka district, northwest of Mirnograd. Furthermore, over the past eight days, Russian forces have regained some positions in the center of Rodinske. Fighting with Ukrainian forces continues inside the town.
According to Suriyakmaps, the RFAF has taken full control of the farms east of Novopavlivka and south of Mirnograd. In this area, they continue to expand in the southern districts and advance to the cemetery. In addition, the RFAF continues to advance east of the Pokrovsk metropolitan area, bypassing the meat processing plant, reaching new trenches south of the Stepnoye cemetery.
