Tay Ninh Vocational College: Organizing the National Day to Protect National Security

On May 22, at Tay Ninh Vocational College, the Steering Committee for Crime Prevention, Social Evils and Building the Movement for All People to Protect National Security of the province coordinated with the school to organize the National Day for All People to Protect National Security in 2025.

Attending the event were Mr. Nguyen Van Vy - Vice Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, Deputy Head of the Steering Committee for Crime Prevention, Social Evils and Building the Movement for the Whole People to Protect the National Security of the Province; representatives of the leaders of the Provincial Police Department.

In her opening speech, Ms. Le Thi Thu Thao - Deputy Secretary of the Party Cell, Vice Principal of the school said that the unit always identifies the work of ensuring security and order as an important political task, closely linked to the process of comprehensive training and education for students. The movement of the whole people to protect national security in schools not only contributes to ensuring the safety of teachers, students, and pupils, but also raises the sense of responsibility of each individual in building a healthy and civilized educational environment.

With close coordination between the school and the professional departments of the Provincial Police, Ward 3 and Ward IV Police (Tay Ninh City) and the strong direction of the Party cell and the Board of Directors, the school has achieved positive results.

In 2024 and the first 5 months of 2025, Tay Ninh Vocational College coordinated with professional units of the Provincial Police to propagate about school security and order, traffic safety, prevention of social evils, fire prevention and fighting, and good people and good deeds in the movement of the whole people to protect national security with the participation of more than 12,600 students and teachers.

The school builds, maintains models and replicates typical advanced examples in the movement; maintains the school's specialized security force. Thereby, cadres, teachers, students and pupils perform well in teaching and learning; raise awareness of complying with the Party's policies, the State's laws, the school's rules and regulations; actively participate in ensuring security and order, preventing crimes inside and outside the unit.

Speaking at the festival, Mr. Nguyen Van Vy - Vice Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, Deputy Head of the Steering Committee for Crime Prevention, Social Evils and Building the Movement of the People to Protect the National Security of the Province emphasized that in recent years, local Party Committees, authorities, and Steering Committees at all levels have regularly paid attention to leading and directly and comprehensively directing the movement of the people to protect the national security in the new period; arousing the consensus of all the people with the Festival of the People participating in protecting the national security in the province.

Collectives and individuals received certificates of merit from the Provincial Police.

Every year, the Provincial Steering Committee plans to organize festivals in units and localities, paying attention to guiding the grassroots level to organize festivals and activities to create conditions for all classes of people to participate in maintaining security and order at the grassroots level. This year, the Provincial Steering Committee selected 2 units as the Festival sites, including Tay Ninh Vocational College and Cam Giang commune (Go Dau district).

The Vice Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, Deputy Head of the Provincial Steering Committee for Crime Prevention, Social Evils and Building the Movement for the People to Protect the National Security of the Province acknowledged the efforts of the collectives and individuals of Tay Ninh Vocational College in carrying out activities towards the Festival and excellently implementing the movement for the people to protect the national security of the school. At the same time, he requested the Party Committee and the Board of Directors of the school to continue to maintain the commemorative activities of the Festival in the coming time and maintain the movements for the people to protect the national security in the school.

On this occasion, the collective of Tay Ninh Vocational College was honored to receive a certificate of merit from the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee for its outstanding achievements in 10 years (2014-2024) of implementing Directive No. 07/CT-BCA-V28 dated August 15, 2014 of the Ministry of Public Security on "Promoting the movement of the entire people to protect national security in agencies, enterprises, and schools to meet the requirements and tasks of ensuring security and order in the new situation".

The provincial police awarded certificates of merit to 2 groups and 2 individuals of the school for their outstanding achievements in implementing the National Day for National Security Protection in 2025.

In addition, Tay Ninh Vocational College also organized awards for students who won prizes in the Golden Bell Contest to learn about legal knowledge on drug prevention in 2025 and the Revolutionary Song Propaganda Contest for the 2024-2025 school year.
