On the morning of June 14, Ho Chi Minh City University of Law officially announced information on regular university enrollment in 2025 with additional methods, conversion to a 30-point scale, and bonus points.

Add 2 more admission methods

According to MSc. Le Van Hien - in charge of the university training department of Ho Chi Minh City University of Law, the school previously planned to enroll students in 3 methods, but now it has decided on 5 methods.

Method 1: direct admission, direct admission and priority admission according to the university admission regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training and the school.

Method 2: Admission combines high school academic results with international language certificates or US SAT exam results.

Certificates or SAT test results, if any, must be valid until June 30 and meet all criteria and conditions set by the school.

The school also released detailed information on the conversion of English certificate scores and US SAT exam results.

Method 3: Admission based on high school academic results for candidates studying at schools listed in the "List of high schools with priority for admission in 2025 of Ho Chi Minh City National University" and meeting all criteria and conditions prescribed by the school.

Method 4: consider candidates with V-SAT exam results (computer-based entrance exam) organized by other units for admission, meeting all criteria and conditions set by the school.

Method 5: Admission based on the results of the 2025 high school graduation exam, meeting all criteria and conditions set by the school.

Candidates register for admission on the general admission support system of the Ministryof Education and Training, ensuring that they complete the process correctly and within the prescribed time limit (from July 16 to 5:00 p.m. on July 28); pay the admission fee according to the number of wishes registered online (from July 29 to 5:00 p.m. on August 5).

The school does not use the results of the exemption from the foreign language exam in the 2025 high school graduation exam; does not use the high school exam scores of previous years for admission; does not convert international foreign language certificates into foreign language scores to include in the admission subject group.

Subject combinations and how to calculate admission scores

The subject combination (including the combination of subjects in the 2025 high school graduation exam and the combination of high school level subjects with converted equivalent scores) used for admission includes 3 subjects, including math or literature.

Admission score: admission score on a 30-point scale.

How to calculate admission score:

Admission score = subject combination score + bonus points (if any) + priority points (if any)

In which: Bonus points only apply to candidates applying for admission under method 2; priority points (by region and/or by policy subjects): are determined according to the admission regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training.
