In 2025, the University of Foreign Languages ​​- Vietnam National University , Hanoi will enroll a total of 2,400 students through 5 methods:

- Direct admission according to the regulations of the Admission Regulations;

Candidates who are admitted by taking an English test or English awards and certificates will be admitted to all majors. Candidates who are admitted by taking a foreign language test other than English or by receiving foreign language awards and certificates other than English will be admitted to the corresponding majors.

In general, the University of Foreign Languages ​​considers admission to the correct major first, then considers admission to related majors; considers admission from high to low until the quota is full.

Candidates should note that the Foreign Language subject score (including the converted score from the foreign language certificate) is calculated with a coefficient of 2. The total score on a 40-point scale is converted to an admission score on a 30-point scale.

Candidates who are directly admitted and wish to enroll in the University of Foreign Languages ​​must register on the Ministry of Education and Training's system (via the Ministry of Education and Training's Admissions Portal or the National Public Service Portal) according to the general plan and instructions of the Ministry. Candidates who do not register their wishes on the Ministry of Education and Training's system will not be officially recognized as admitted.

Successful candidates must confirm their admission within the specified time limit. If they do not confirm their admission within the specified time limit, they will be considered as having refused admission.

Candidates are fully responsible for the information declared and the evidence attached when submitting the application. The Admissions Council will conduct a post-check of the admission conditions for each subject when candidates enroll. Candidates who do not meet the admission conditions will be removed from the official admission list.

Regarding the expected tuition fees for full-time students, the university-level training programs according to the project of the University of Foreign Languages ​​- VNU include: English, French, Chinese, German, Japanese, Korean, the training cost is 38 million VND/student/year.

Russian Language and Arabic Language training programs, tuition fee is 21 million VND/student/year.

Training program in Transnational Culture and Communication, Vietnamese Language and Culture, tuition fee 16.9 million VND/student/year.

International joint program in Economics - Finance (degree granted by Southern New Hampshire University - USA) estimated training cost is 65 million VND/student/year (official tuition is calculated according to the US dollar exchange rate at the time of tuition collection).
