Of the 26 people who met the standards for the title of professor and associate professor this year at Can Tho University, 4 met the standards for professor and 22 met the standards for associate professor, spanning many majors.

Four people who met the professor standards include Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Van Cong, aquaculture; Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Vo Chau Ngan, agriculture ; Associate Professor Dr. Dinh Minh Quang, biology and Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Thanh Tien, physics.

Associate Professor Dr. Dinh Minh Quang, born in 1983, is also the youngest person in the country to achieve the standard of professor in biology this year.

Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Vo Chau Ngan is the only professor candidate in the country this year who is from Ho Chi Minh City.

The youngest person among the 26 people qualified for the title of professor and associate professor this year at Can Tho University is Dr. Ha Thi Kim Quy, born in 1988.

In 2024, 615 candidates were recognized as meeting the standards for the titles of professor and associate professor. Of these, there were 45 professor candidates and 570 associate professor candidates.
