Tra Vinh University awarded 200 scholarships worth more than 1 billion VND

On the occasion of Vietnamese Teachers' Day, November 20, Tra Vinh University held a meeting and awarded 200 scholarships worth more than 1.1 billion VND.

On November 20, Tra Vinh University (TVU) held a meeting to celebrate the 43rd anniversary of Vietnamese Teachers' Day (November 20, 1982 - November 20, 2025) and awarded scholarships to students with excellent academic achievements.

At the meeting, Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Minh Hoa, Party Secretary and Rector of Tra Vinh University, said that in 2025, TVU will strongly improve its ranking on WURI Ranking , ranking 29/400 of the world's leading innovative universities, up 13 places compared to 2024. On the UI GreenMetric ranking, TVU ranked 133/1,477 global schools, continuing to be in the group of leading green universities in Vietnam. The school also made its mark with 3 consecutive years of receiving the national digital transformation award and was recently honored at SEI Awards 2025 in the category of "Smart Education Initiative".

By 2025, the school will have 27 training programs accredited according to international standards FIBAA, ABET, AUN, making TVU one of the universities with the largest number of internationally accredited programs in the Mekong Delta region.

In addition, in 2025, TVU had 5 candidates recognized as meeting the standards for the title of associate professor; 11 officials successfully defended their theses and were recognized with doctoral or specialist II degrees; many collectives and individuals of the school were awarded the Labor Medal, certificates of merit from the Prime Minister and certificates of merit in the field of science and technology.

On the occasion of the meeting to celebrate Vietnamese Teachers' Day, Tra Vinh University awarded 200 scholarships, with a total value of over 1.1 billion VND to students who have overcome difficulties to study well.
