Teaching amateur music to students

On the afternoon of March 25, the Provincial Center for Culture, Arts and Sports organized a class on Don Ca Tai Tu at two schools in Ba Ria City: Hoa Long Primary School (Hoa Long Commune) and Tran Van Thuong Primary School (Long Phuoc Commune).

At schools, students are taught basic contents about the origin, source, style, and form of expression of the art of Don Ca Tai Tu; melodies and small pieces in the art of Don Ca Tai Tu... by Meritorious Artist Huynh Khai, former Head of the Department of Traditional Music at the Ho Chi Minh City Conservatory of Music.

In addition, students are guided to practice 2 lessons: Ly cay bong, Tam phap nhap mon in the art of don ca tai tu.

In 2025, according to the plan, the Center will coordinate with the Departmentof Education of Ba Ria City to open classes to teach Don Ca Tai Tu at 5 schools.

The class teaches Don Ca Tai Tu to students to continue to preserve and promote the art of Don Ca Tai Tu in the Southern region of Ba Ria-Vung Tau province; bringing the cultural heritage of Don Ca Tai Tu into community life.
