Teaching skills in organizing Bai Choi festivals and calling and singing Bai Choi

(QBĐT) - On the evening of August 29, at the Center for Culture, Sports and Communications of Le Thuy district, the Department of Culture and Sports organized a summary and report on the results of the training class on skills to organize the Bai Choi playing festival and call and sing Bai Choi in Quang Binh province in 2024.

The closing performance was attended by a large number of people in Le Thuy district.

Taking place from August 27-29, the class on skills to organize the Bai Choi festival and call and sing Bai Choi in Quang Binh province in 2024 attracted the participation of 25 artisans and students from the Provincial Culture and Cinema Center, the Center for Culture, Sports and Communication of Bo Trach, Quang Ninh, Le Thuy districts and Dong Hoi city.

At the training class, the trainees were trained by artisans in skills of organizing a Bai Choi festival; teaching melodies and performance styles; practicing making Bai Choi signs...

At the closing ceremony, the students organized a card game festival with the participation of many people in Le Thuy district. This was also an activity to celebrate the 79th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2.

Students were trained by artisans in the skills of organizing a Bai Choi festival.

The training course aims to contribute to preserving and honoring the value of the art of Bài Chòi in Central Vietnam, a cultural heritage that has been included by UNESCO in the list of intangible cultural heritage of humanity.

This is also an opportunity for artisans and students to exchange experiences in preserving and promoting the values ​​of the intangible cultural heritage of the art of Bài Chòi in Central Vietnam.
