According to VNA correspondent in Latin America, on April 30, Mundo Obrero, the official media channel of the Spanish Communist Party (PCE), published an article mentioning historical milestones and praising Vietnam's achievements after 50 years of victory over imperialism and 95 years of leadership by the Communist Party of Vietnam .
According to the author, in this year of profound historical significance, Vietnam is celebrating two important milestones that determine the country's destiny: the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification and the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam.
These historic moments not only recall the heroic resistance of a people, but also show the vision of a nation that has turned the scars of war into the foundation of progress.
The article mentions the Victory of April 30, 1975, which ended decades of struggle by the Vietnamese people against hostile forces and foreign invaders.
The victory not only reshaped the geopolitical map but also inspired anti-colonial movements around the world. However, the price of that struggle was enormous, with millions of lives lost, lands devastated by Agent Orange, and economies torn apart.

The official media channel of the Spanish Communist Party praised the Doi Moi policy proposed by the 6th Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam in 1986, opening a turning point of historical significance for the Vietnamese revolution, bringing the country into a new stage of development with the policy of developing a multi-sector commodity economy, operating according to a socialist-oriented market mechanism.
This reform policy transformed Vietnam from a food importer into a rice-producing powerhouse, reducing the poverty rate from 58% in 1993 to below 5% in 2020 and attracting strong foreign investment.
According to Mundo Obrero, Vietnam today is a key player in the Asian region with sustainable economic growth and many advances in education and technology.
