Having grown up from local union activities, in 2022, Ms. Vo Thi Thuy Trang (born in 1992), in village 3, Cu M'gar commune, Cu M'gar district, was elected as Secretary of the village Party Cell. To fulfill her duties well, Ms. Trang actively studied Party documents, directives, and resolutions, learned from the experiences of predecessors, good models, and new ways of doing things on the media to propagate and mobilize Party members and people to follow.

“Being elected as a Party cell secretary is an honor but also a great pressure. But no matter what position you are in, as long as you always strive and do your best for the common good, and fulfill the responsibility of "People trust, Party elects", you will receive everyone's sympathy and support," Ms. Trang confided.

Mr. Y Noen Nie, Secretary of the Party Committee of Cu M'gar Commune, said that the commune currently has 11 village and hamlet Party cells, of which 9/11 Party cells have female secretaries. As a team of grassroots cadres closest to the people, in recent times, female Party cell secretaries have performed their roles well, contributing to the Party Committee and local government to successfully complete the tasks of economic development, socio-culture and security and order in the area.

The Women's Union of Ea Kao Commune (Buon Ma Thuot City) currently has nearly 3,000 members participating in activities, of which over 40% are ethnic minorities, most of whom still face many difficulties in life. Based on this reality, the President of the Women's Union of Ea Kao Commune, Trinh Thi Tuyet, has organized a survey on the vocational training needs of female workers in the locality, proactively developed a plan to coordinate with vocational training centers and facilities in the province to open free vocational training classes, with special attention paid to brocade weaving training classes for ethnic minority women.

Ms. Tuyet shared: "In the commune, there is currently the Tong Bong Brocade Weaving Cooperative implementing a brocade weaving model combined with community tourism, welcoming domestic and foreign delegations to visit and experience. Therefore, we want women to learn brocade weaving not only to preserve traditional culture but also to have a stable income to cover their living expenses."

In addition to maintaining the weaving profession, Ms. Tuyet and the Executive Committee of the Commune Women's Union have encouraged women to implement the "Green Garden Long House" model, and renovate their home gardens to grow vegetables such as bitter eggplant, wild bitter melon, wild vegetables, etc. to serve their families and create a space for tourists to explore and experience the customs and cultural life of indigenous people.

In line with Plan No. 57-KH/TU of the Provincial Party Standing Committee on implementing Directive No. 21-CT/TW of the Central Party Secretariat on "Continuing to promote women's work in the new situation", in recent times, all levels and sectors have created conditions for women's unions at all levels in the province to promote their core role in advising, proposing solutions and mobilizing women of all walks of life to participate in the process of organizing and implementing the movement, achieving many positive results.

Provincial Women's Union honors outstanding women in various fields.

Playing a key role in implementing women's work, the provincial Women's Unions at all levels have also implemented practical, diverse, creative and effective activities, contributing to the successful implementation of assigned political tasks. For example, from the emulation movement "Building Vietnamese women of the new era", the provincial Women's Union has directed all levels of the union to develop plans and specify the content of the emulation movement in conjunction with studying and following the ideology, morality and style of Ho Chi Minh, the campaign "Building a family of 5 no's, 3 clean's" and the union's key tasks.

In particular, the association at all levels has specified the content of the emulation movement for each target group from association officials, members, rural and urban women to female civil servants, public employees, workers, and armed forces. In particular, proactively coordinating with agencies and units to organize training and fostering to improve knowledge and skills for women in all fields; paying attention to the work of planning, training, and appointing female cadres, increasing the proportion of female cadres participating in Party committees and People's Councils at all levels.

Implementing the Prime Minister's Project "Propaganda, education, mobilization, and support for women to participate in solving a number of social issues related to women in the period of 2017 - 2027", women's unions at all levels in the province have maintained and improved the quality of 584 service models supporting women and families with over 12,600 members participating. Thereby, contributing to raising awareness and promoting the proactive role of members in participating in solving issues related to women and children.

Chairwoman of the Provincial Women's Union To Thi Tam said that, with the role of representing the legitimate rights and interests of women of all classes, women's unions at all levels in the province have implemented many activities and programs, gradually narrowing the gender gap, enhancing the role and position, creating favorable conditions for women to access and participate in activities in all fields.
