New An Giang soldiers report to President Ton Duc Thang

On the morning of May 18, at President Ton Duc Thang Memorial Site (My Hoa Hung Commune, Long Xuyen City), Regiment 892 (An Giang Provincial Military Command) held a ceremony to offer flowers, incense and report on his achievements in training new soldiers in 2025.

In 2025, Regiment 892 was assigned the task of receiving and training outstanding young men from 11 districts, towns and cities in the province. Determining this as the unit's central task, the Regiment's new soldier training units have done a good job of preparing for reception and training.

Training in hot weather for a long time has a significant impact on the health of officers and soldiers. However, with solidarity and high determination, officers and soldiers of the unit overcame all difficulties, promoted a sense of responsibility, made efforts, and were determined to successfully complete all tasks. The test results of all tested subjects were 100% satisfactory or higher, many comrades achieved good and excellent results. New soldiers have a firm grasp of the content, matured in awareness; integrated into the lifestyle and discipline of the Army; and formed the qualities, style, and mettle of a soldier of the Vietnam People's Army.

Before the spirit of President Ton Duc Thang, the officers and soldiers of Regiment 892 respectfully offered him their outstanding achievements, expressing their respect and infinite gratitude for his ideology, moral example, life and noble revolutionary career.

After the ceremony, delegates visited the Exhibition House introducing the life and career of Uncle Ton, and the Memorial House of President Ton Duc Thang's childhood.
