The booth attracted people thanks to a series of recycled items on display such as hangers, spoons, plant pots, etc., along with the special 'revival' story hidden deep within each item.
The journey of "reviving" milk cartons is not only a story of recycling, but also a symbol of a civilized and responsible lifestyle. When a greener future for the community starts from just a very small action every day.
30 seconds to revive milk cartons
A representative of TH Group said that the journey of "reviving" milk cartons sounds complicated but is actually very simple. After use, instead of throwing them in the trash, users just need to wash the inside, let it dry and store it away. This cleaning and folding process only takes about 30 seconds.
After accumulating enough milk cartons, users can bring them to collection points at TH true mart stores (from 8am - 5:30pm on weekdays), scan the program's QR code, enter collection information according to instructions and receive gifts (if enough cartons have been accumulated).
The boxes sent back by consumers are sent to a dedicated recycling partner connected by Tetra Pak, where each layer of material, including paper, plastic and aluminum, is stripped, cleaned and processed separately. These components are then recombined to create new materials, ready to be used in the production of environmentally friendly consumer products.
"The process of transforming used milk cartons into useful products is a vivid demonstration of TH Group's persistent commitment to sustainable development," said a TH Group representative.
At the festival, TH True Milk implemented two activities to encourage green consumption and recycling. Participants only need to bring 20 milk cartons to receive a lucky draw with gifts such as canvas bags, TH milk cartons, premium food boxes, glass boxes or bamboo fiber towels.
Along with that, TH organizes a promotion program according to orders (only applicable during the two Green Vietnam Festivals 2025), specifically with orders worth 100,000 VND, you will receive 1 lucky draw to receive a gift from TH.

Recycle milk cartons for gifts, hoping my child will soon 'live green'
Taking advantage of the weekend, Mr. Vu Van Tuan (living in Ho Chi Minh City) and his 5-year-old daughter visited the Green Vietnam Festival very early. Normally at home, he and his daughter still maintain the habit of recycling milk cartons and plastic bottles.
"When I learned about the Green Vietnam Festival, I promised my daughter that she must participate. It is my wish to let my daughter get acquainted with the waste recycling process, especially TH milk cartons, which she comes into contact with every day. So I am hoping that she will enjoy it, then gradually get used to it and form a green lifestyle early on," Mr. Tuan confided.
Knowing that there would be a collection of recycled products to exchange for gifts at the festival, Ms. Tran Thi Lanh (67 years old, living in the old Tan Phu district) prepared a lot of milk cartons and had to participate right away.

Mrs. Lanh said her family has many children and uses a lot of milk cartons every day, so the task of washing and drying milk cartons to exchange for gifts has become very familiar after many years.
"Many people say that doing these things is complicated, but it's very simple and quick. I just put the milk cartons together, after a few days I will wash them with water, dry them in the sun and they will dry quickly. I just put them together, and when I have free time, I will go to the TH true mart store, put them in the machine to accumulate points, and when I have enough points, I will get a gift," said Ms. Lanh.
The desire for a cleaner and greener living environment is another big reason that Ms. Lanh cited to motivate her to soon form the habit of washing milk cartons and saving them to exchange for gifts. "There's nothing difficult about doing it. Even if it's difficult, I'll still do it. Just thinking that I'm doing it so that I, and later my children and grandchildren, can live in a green, clean environment, that's the motivation right away," Ms. Lanh added.
