Attending the event were representatives of the Drug Crime Investigation Police Department ( Ministry of Public Security ), Provincial Police, Department of Education and Training, along with a large number of officers, teachers and students of 4 teams: Tong Van Tran High School, Nguyen Hue A High School, Nho Quan C High School, Phu Ly B High School.
Speaking at the Competition, a representative of the Drug Crime Investigation Police Department (Ministry of Public Security) said that currently, there are about 290,000 illegal drug users nationwide, of which more than 51% are in the community. This is a great risk of crime and other violations of the law, especially among young people.
Recently, drug abuse has been penetrating schools with many sophisticated tricks. Synthetic drugs "disguised" as food, drinks, and electronic cigarettes are being promoted and sold on social networks, enticing students to use and buy them. As of September 2025, more than 1,000 students nationwide were found to be addicted to and illegally using drugs; 61 students violated drug laws and committed drug-related crimes. The above situation has impacted school safety, seriously affected teaching and learning, and raised many concerns about the training and nurturing of the country's future generations.
In order to prevent drugs from entering schools, on January 22, 2024, the Ministry of Public Security and the Ministry of Education and Training signed a joint program to strengthen propaganda, dissemination and education on drug prevention and control laws in educational institutions for the period 2024 - 2030, aiming to equip students with knowledge and skills to identify and prevent social evils. This competition is one of the activities to concretize that joint program, contributing to raising awareness and sense of responsibility of young people in drug prevention and control work.

At the Competition, students from 4 teams participated in 3 competitions, including: greeting, eloquence and talent. With many vivid forms of performance such as storytelling, short plays, animations, rhymes, singing, dancing... The performances reflected the unpredictable consequences of drugs and the will to overcome temptations of young people, leaving many impressions and profound messages about the responsibility of students in joining hands to push back drugs in schools.

At the end of the Competition, the Organizing Committee awarded 1 first prize, 1 second prize, and 2 third prizes. The team of Nguyen Hue High School A excellently won the first prize and will represent the province to participate in the Northern regional final round, scheduled to be held in mid-December in Hai Phong .
