According to the report of the Provincial Cooperative Union, by October 31, 2025, the whole province had 1,529 cooperatives and People's Credit Funds with a total of 827,663 members. Of which, cooperatives operating in the agricultural sector accounted for over 74%; People's Credit Funds accounted for over 12.1%; the remaining non-agricultural cooperatives. Currently, in the province, there are 92 cooperatives applying high technology in management, production and business activities; 148 production and business cooperatives associated with product value chains, linking production, processing and product consumption activities with enterprises. Products that meet OCOP standards are of good quality and brand building such as: cordyceps, lotus tea, safe vegetables, fruits and honey, goats, deer, etc.

The average income of members in the cooperative is about 45 million VND/year. Of which, 80% of agricultural cooperatives are good or better, 20 cooperatives are average with revenue reaching 1,250 million VND/cooperative/year, average profit reaching about 70 million VND/cooperative/year.
Activities to support trade promotion and product consumption in our province have recently had positive and effective changes; they have been expanded in the direction of diversification associated with digital transformation. Currently, the Provincial Cooperative Alliance has coordinated with the Trade Promotion Center (Vietnam Cooperative Alliance) to organize trade connections with 60 cooperatives to support bringing products to the e-commerce floor; at the same time, building an e-commerce website and traditional publications to support the consumption of special products in the markets of provinces and cities: Nghe An, Ha Tinh, Da Nang, Hanoi , Bac Ninh, Thai Nguyen, Quang Ninh, Hai Phong...
At the conference, delegates discussed issues such as the role of connecting supply and demand, product consumption and policies, orientations, solutions to promote, advertise, promote trade, and support product consumption. Electronic cooperative model, digital transformation, application of science and technology to transform from individual business households into enterprises; expanding and improving the capacity of the private economic sector. Instructions for participating in online product markets and connecting e-commerce platforms. Delegates also pointed out difficulties and limitations in product processing and packaging; product promotion and promotion; training in science and technology, improving management and operation capacity of cooperatives that have not met requirements.

Speaking at the conference, Comrade Dinh Hong Thai, Vice President of the Vietnam Cooperative Alliance, affirmed that the conference on trade promotion activities organized by Ninh Binh province today is of special interest to the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, and People's Committee, and this is an outstanding program in a series of connecting events, contributing to promoting production and consumption of local products. The contributions of enterprises, managers, and cooperative delegates at the conference are valuable experiences, which the Vietnam Cooperative Alliance will absorb to develop a plan to support cooperatives to operate more effectively in the new situation. He hopes that the cadres of cooperatives and enterprises will always be proactive in innovation, creativity, and bold in changing their thinking and working methods, and that the management agency will be a bridge to support and remove difficulties to increase the value of cooperative products.

Speaking at the conference, Mr. Tran Song Tung, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, emphasized that after the merger, Ninh Binh province has expanded its development space in both breadth and depth in economic development, especially in the fields related to typical traditional craft village products in each region and locality. In particular, for products that have built a brand known to many customers such as Nha Xa silk weaving - Duy Tan ward; Tong Xa bronze casting - Y Yen commune and agricultural, forestry and fishery products...
In order for products to increase income value for people, craft villages and cooperatives, functional sectors need to continue to implement support solutions, including loans with preferential interest rates; training, applying technology in production stages; paying attention to changing product designs and packaging..., continuing to innovate and enhance product value.
Within the framework of the conference, delegates witnessed the signing ceremony of a memorandum of understanding between the Provincial Cooperative Union and cooperatives, product supply and consumption units. At the same time, they visited the booths of more than 30 cooperatives inside and outside the province. At the booths, delegates evaluated the quality of products and directly exchanged information to link investment, supply and consumption of products, especially products with export potential.
Through the trade promotion conference to connect product consumption; this is also a bridge for cooperatives and enterprises of the provinces to contact, exchange information, grasp the demand for product consumption, support localities to bring goods into the distribution system, expand the market in provinces and cities with large consumption such as: Hanoi, Hai Phong, Quang Ninh, Hung Yen, Thai Nguyen.
