(GLO)- On November 14, representatives of the Gia Lai Provincial Border Guard Command visited, encouraged and presented gifts to households affected by storm No. 13 in De Gi and An Luong communes.

Storm No. 13 has caused serious damage, heavily affecting people's lives, especially in coastal border areas. De Gi and An Luong are the localities that suffered the most damage, many houses were completely collapsed, roofs were blown off, boats were severely damaged...

At the places visited, Colonel Tran Thanh Binh - Deputy Commander of the Provincial Border Guard encouraged and shared the losses and difficulties of the people. In the coming time, the Provincial Border Guard will continue to accompany local Party committees and authorities in responding to natural disasters, helping people develop the economy and build a strong border area.

On this occasion, the Provincial Border Guard Command awarded support money to 20 households (1 million VND/household), taken from contributions of officers and soldiers.
