Nong Tien Ward Women launched 10 groups "Parenting for the comprehensive development of children"

From October 20 to November 15, 2025, the Women's Union of Nong Tien Ward launched 10 groups "Parenting for the comprehensive development of children" at 10 women's branches including: Branches 1, 2, 6, 9, 10, Trang Da Branches 1, 4, 5, 8, 9.

Each group has 20 members, who are fathers and mothers with children aged 0-8 years old and childcare workers in the community. The groups participate in activities at the residential community cultural house according to 8 topics: Getting to know each other, parenting skills, nutritional care, abuse prevention, child health care, child behavior intervention, intellectual development and playing with children, child safety.

This is a program under the Project "Enhancing the capacity of the Vietnam Women's Union in parenting education for the comprehensive development of children; preventing and responding to gender-based violence" sponsored by the United Nations Children's Fund in Vietnam (UNICEF).

Thereby, aiming to improve knowledge and skills on child rearing for parents with children aged 0-8 years old and child caretakers in the community; contributing to the implementation of Decision 1437 of the Government on approving the Project on care for the comprehensive development of children in the first years of life in the family and community for the period 2018-2025.
