Youth of Truong Sa island district participate in "Volunteer Saturday"

After the launching ceremony, cadres, union members and youth from the mainland to the islands stationed on Truong Sa archipelago had many practical activities such as: Organizing the consolidation of the unit's landscape, cleaning up more than 18 km of internal roads and coastline; consolidating more than 2,000 m² of green space, flower beds, miniature landscapes, and youth works at agencies and units; pruning and shaping more than 1,000 ornamental plants; classifying and treating nearly 800 kg of waste.

Colonel Pham Van Tho, Party Secretary and Political Commissar of Brigade 146, said: Towards the Brigade Party Congress for the 2025 - 2030 term, over the past time, the youth of Truong Sa Youth Union have organized many pioneering and creative activities to compete for achievements and beautify the tradition; promoted the registration of construction works and tasks with the spirit: "Where there is need, there is youth, where there is difficulty, there is youth".

"Volunteer Saturday" is one of the key activities regularly carried out by the unit, thereby educating and propagating to cadres and youth union members of the Brigade's Youth Union, contributing to raising awareness and responsibility, promoting the pioneering and volunteering role of the youth, creating good habits for each cadre and soldier in protecting the living environment, preserving the blue color of the sea, creating green spaces and building a "bright, green, clean and beautiful" unit landscape.
