Honoring 95 excellent valedictorians graduating from universities and academies in 2025 in Hanoi

On the evening of November 14, at the Center for Cultural and Scientific Activities of the Temple of Literature - Quoc Tu Giam (Hanoi), the City Party Committee, the People's Council, the People's Committee, and the Fatherland Front Committee of Hanoi held a ceremony to honor outstanding valedictorians graduating from universities and academies in the city in 2025.

Representatives of Hanoi city leaders and central and local departments, ministries, branches, and organizations, along with the capital's excellent valedictorians, were honored this year.

Entering its 23rd year of organization, the program to honor the capital's valedictorians continues to affirm the regular and deep attention of the Party Committee, government and people of Hanoi city to the cause of education - training, fostering and promoting the young generation.

Speaking at the ceremony, Vice Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee Vu Thu Ha said: After more than two decades of implementation, Hanoi has commended and awarded Certificates of Merit from the Hanoi People's Committee to a total of 2,351 excellent valedictorians.

Among these, many valedictorians have been holding important positions in agencies, organizations and businesses, promoting their intelligence and courage, actively contributing to the development of the capital as well as the country.

This year, the valedictorians honored are of equal quality, many of them are exemplary young party members, "5 Good Students" at all levels, young faces who have overcome difficulties to rise up, young intellectuals who possess scientific research works that have won domestic and international awards, along with creative and practical initiatives and solutions in study and life.

Among the 95 outstanding young faces, there are 35 males and 60 females. In terms of academic results, 64 cases achieved excellent results, 31 cases achieved good results. Notably, 33 excellent valedictorians in 2025 are all members of the Communist Party of Vietnam (accounting for 35% of the total number of valedictorians).

The outstanding valedictorians of the Capital in 2025 received Certificates of Merit at the ceremony. Standing in the middle of the photo above is valedictorian Nguyen Duc Thien - a blind man who has turned music into the light of his life with the nickname "Thien flute".

By major, there are 16 valedictorians in the technical field, 31 valedictorians in the management-culture-society field, 20 valedictorians in the economic field, 9 valedictorians in the pedagogical field, 6 valedictorians in the medical-pharmaceutical field, and 13 valedictorians in the armed forces field.
