The Military Admissions Board ( Ministry of National Defense ) has just sent a document to units and schools regarding some contents of admission to full-time military colleges and universities in 2025.
Accordingly, this year, military schools will use 3 admission methods, including: Direct admission, priority admission for candidates who have won national and international awards according to regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training and the Ministry of National Defense; Considering the scores of the capacity assessment test organized by Hanoi National University and Ho Chi Minh City National University in 2025; Considering the results of the high school graduation exam in 2025.
Thus, compared to 2024, military schools have eliminated the method of considering high school transcripts.
With the method of considering high school graduation exam scores, This year, military schools use 13 combinations including A00 (Math, Physics, Chemistry), A01 (Math, Physics, English), B00 (Math, Chemistry, Biology), C00 (Literature, History, Geography), D01 (Math, Literature, English), D02 (Math, Literature, Russian), D04 (Math, Literature, Chinese), C01 (Literature, Math, Physics), C02 (Literature, Math, Chemistry), C03 (Literature, Math, History), C04 (Literature, Math, Geography), D07 (Math, Chemistry, English) and A0T (Math, Physics, IT).
Details of admission quotas and combinations of 20 military schools in 2025 are as follows:
Regarding the rules for converting equivalent input thresholds and admission scores between methods and combinations, according to the Military Admissions Board of the Ministry of National Defense, after receiving instructions from the Ministry of Education and Training, schools will study and propose to the Military Admissions Board of the Ministry of National Defense for consideration and decision.
Previously, the Military Admissions Board of the Ministry of National Defense announced the enrollment quota for 20 military schools. This year, military schools will enroll 4,400 military university and college students, a decrease of nearly 1,000 compared to 2024.
