On the morning of October 9, the Provincial National Assembly Delegation and the Provincial Police Department held a conference to disseminate, survey, and collect opinions on three draft laws chaired by the Ministry of Public Security .

Comrade Nguyen Van Manh, Provincial Party Committee member, Deputy Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation; Colonel Dinh Ngoc Khoa, Member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Director of the Provincial Police Department chaired the conference.
At the conference, delegates were informed of the key contents of three draft laws, including the Law on Basic Security, the Law on Road Traffic Safety and Order, and the Law on Citizen Identification.
Discussing at the conference, delegates emphasized that the development of draft laws in the current context is very necessary, helping the People's Public Security force to be proactive in advising the Party and State on policies and strategies on ensuring security, order, traffic safety and order, effectively deploying tasks and solutions to implement the strategy of protecting national security, ensuring social order and safety, and improving the effectiveness of State administrative management according to the trend of the times.
The Law on Grassroots Security requires a regime of remuneration, operating expenses, and equipment for grassroots security forces; specific regulations on coordination between grassroots security and order forces and other forces.
Regarding the Law on Road Traffic Safety, it is necessary to ensure practicality and conformity with the trends of other countries in the world ; the issue of overlapping transport management; the rules when participating in traffic; the issue of granting and revoking driving licenses.
Regarding the Law on Citizen Identification, delegates agreed with the name; at the same time, it was suggested that there should be regulations on the transition from ID cards to CCCD cards to facilitate people; and regulations on organizations' identification accounts in the electronic environment.
On behalf of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation, Deputy Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation Nguyen Van Manh acknowledged and accepted the delegates' comments to submit to the National Assembly in the next session.
