Widely propagate the immortal spirit of the August Revolution and National Day September 2

The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism has just issued a Plan for Information and Propaganda to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam on mass media.

With the theme “Immortal spirit of August Revolution and National Day September 2”, the propaganda activities focused on clarifying the context, developments, causes of victory, historical lessons and the contemporary stature of the August Revolution; affirming the significance of the birth of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam, now the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.

The propaganda content emphasized the achievements of 80 years of building and defending the Fatherland and nearly 40 years of innovation and international integration; affirming the "era of rising up" of the country under the leadership of the Party, towards the goal of a rich people, strong country, democracy, fairness and civilization.

The plan emphasizes the refuting of false arguments and historical distortions; strengthens propaganda to protect the Party's ideological foundation; vividly reflects patriotic emulation movements, gratitude and commemorative activities taking place at all levels, sectors and localities; contributes to creating an exciting atmosphere and strengthening people's confidence in the cause of innovation and sustainable development of the country.
