Vietnam team continues to be stable in the world's top 100
This afternoon, November 30, FIFA announced the November rankings for national men's teams. The Vietnamese team continues to stabilize its position in the world's top 100, maintaining its 94th position, ranking 15th in Asia and number 1 in Southeast Asia.
In November, the Vietnamese team played the first two matches of the 2026 World Cup Qualifiers in Asia with 1 win (against the Philippines) and 1 loss (against Iraq). Accordingly, the "Golden Star Warriors" were deducted 0.67 points, down to 1,236 points, but still maintained their 94th place in the world, 15th in Asia and No. 1 in Southeast Asia.
In the rankings for Southeast Asian teams, Malaysia is the team that has improved the most, rising 7 places to 130th FIFA after winning all two matches in the first round of the 2026 World Cup Qualifiers. Thailand was deducted 0.40 points to 1,177 points and dropped 1 place to 113th in the world and 2nd in Southeast Asia.
