CAND-T&T table tennis team receives big prize

CAND-T&T Club received a big reward after its achievements in the national tournament.

CAND-T&T Club won 3 gold medals and 3 bronze medals at the tournament. Dinh Anh Hoang became the new men's singles champion, ending the dominance of his opponents from Hanoi and Hai Duong. He and Le Dinh Duc continued to successfully defend the men's doubles championship for the 6th consecutive time. Notably, the team defeated Hanoi 3-0 in the men's team final, regaining the championship lost last year.

Before the tournament, T&T Group Executive Chairman, Do Quang Hien, decided to send the athletes to China for training. As a result, Dinh Anh Hoang showed clear progress in his playing style, demonstrated by his 4-1 victory over Nguyen Anh Tu in the men's singles final.

Meanwhile, Vice President Do Vinh Quang said: "The cooperation between T&T and the Police Sports Association is an effective model between public and private resources, working together to develop sustainable sports."

CAND-T&T Club was established in May 2024 and has been continuously successful. At the 2024 National Championship, they won 2 gold medals and 3 silver medals. Notably, at the 2024 National Youth Championship, the Club won the overall championship with 13 gold medals, far exceeding the initial target of only 8 gold medals.

The group of "Mr. Hien" has repeatedly given big rewards to Vietnamese table tennis, from 1.15 billion VND after the 32nd SEA Games to 1.5 billion VND for the 2024 National Championship achievement. These investments are bringing clear results, helping Vietnamese table tennis make steady progress.
