New bus route connecting Quang Tri - Quang Binh ready for operation in July

Accordingly, the Department of Transport and Vehicle Management was assigned to coordinate with the Department of Infrastructure Management and specialized units of the Department of Construction of Quang Binh province to organize field surveys.

The survey content includes: route information (route, distance, starting point - ending point), vehicle schedule (number of trips, frequency, travel speed, travel time), vehicle types and quantity, stop-stop system - waiting room, opening and closing times of the route. The deadline for completing this content is before May 19, 2025.

In addition, the Planning and Finance Department is assigned to preside over and coordinate with relevant units to advise on the issuance of regulations on selecting units to operate subsidized bus routes. At the same time, prepare bidding documents and invite qualified transport enterprises to participate in providing services, to be completed before May 30, 2025.

The selection of investors will be completed before July 10, 2025. After that, the Department of Construction will complete the procedures and officially announce the operation of the Dong Ha ( Quang Tri ) - Dong Hoi (Quang Binh) bus route before July 30, 2025.

It is known that the implementation of this bus route is carried out in accordance with Resolution No. 23/2025/NQ-HDND dated April 4, 2025 of the People's Council of Quang Tri province, along with directive documents from the People's Committee of Quang Tri province and the consensus of the Department of Construction of Quang Binh province.
