Provincial People's Committee works with the working delegation of the Department of Industry and Tourism of Nagahama city

On the morning of May 20, the Provincial People's Committee held a working conference with the delegation of the Department of Industry and Tourism of Nagahama City, Shiga Prefecture (Japan) led by Mr. Kawase Tomohisa, Head of the Department of Industry and Trade Promotion, Department of Industry and Tourism of Nagahama City, to study and learn about the investment environment in the province. Receiving and working with the delegation were Mr. Tran Xuan Duong, Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; leaders of a number of departments, branches and functional agencies.

Ha Nam is a province located at the southern gateway of Hanoi Capital, in the Northern key economic region, with a natural area of over 860 km², a convenient transportation network connecting with provinces in the region and the whole country, favorable conditions for expanding exchanges and cooperation with localities and regions. In particular, with its location on the trans-Vietnam tourist route, Ha Nam has a very important advantage in strongly attracting the trans-Vietnam tourist market and the weekend tourist market of Hanoi as well as neighboring provinces. Ha Nam's natural tourism resources are quite rich with famous landscapes such as: Tam Chuc Lake, Ba Hang Lake, Ngu Dong Son, Luon Cave, Kem Trong, Bat Canh Tien... In addition, the dense river and lake system with the poetic beauty of the Red River, Day River, Chau River along with the typical lowland agricultural ecosystem are unique features with the potential for tourism development. Regarding industrial development, the province is planned to have 13 industrial parks, of which 8 are already in operation, attracting more than 700 investors, including many Japanese investors.

Speaking at the conference, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Xuan Duong said: In recent years, Ha Nam province has grown strongly, becoming one of the provinces attracting many investors. The province has focused on investing in infrastructure, focusing on developing a transport network connecting with provinces and cities in the region. Therefore, many large domestic and foreign investors have invested in the province, including many Japanese investors. The economic growth of the province has important contributions from Japanese enterprises. In the coming time, Ha Nam province hopes that the Department of Industry and Tourism of Nagahama city, Shiga province will continue to support the locality in calling for Japanese enterprises to invest in the area; support and coordinate with the province in training workers, providing for Japanese enterprises. Ha Nam province is committed to creating the most favorable conditions for investors.
