The Central Inspection Commission disciplines party members who violate the law.

(Chinhphu.vn) - On May 29, in Hanoi, the Central Inspection Commission held its 56th meeting under the chairmanship of comrade Nguyen Duy Ngoc, Politburo member, Party Central Committee Secretary, and Chairman of the Central Inspection Commission.

At this Session, the Central Inspection Commission (CIC) reviewed and concluded the following contents:

1- Considering the Report proposing disciplinary action against party members who violated the Party regulations at local Party Committees and units: Ministry of Education and Training , Vietnam Rubber Industry Group, Dong Nai, Hau Giang, the Central Inspection Committee found that:

- Comrade Nguyen Thi Kim Chi , member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee, Deputy Minister ofEducation and Training, during her tenure as member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the Cua Lo Town Party Committee, Nghe An Province, violated Party regulations and State laws in performing assigned duties and tasks; violated regulations on what Party members are not allowed to do and the responsibility to set an example, causing serious consequences, reducing the prestige of the Party organization, to the point of having to take disciplinary action.

- Comrades: Tran Ngoc Thuan , former member of the Standing Committee of the Central Enterprises Party Committee, Party Secretary, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Vietnam Rubber Industry Group; Vo Van Chanh , former member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Dong Nai province; Nguyen Van Tien , former member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the People's Council of Hau Giang province, have degraded in political ideology, ethics, lifestyle, violated Party regulations, State laws in performing assigned duties and tasks, in preventing and combating corruption and negativity; violated regulations on what Party members are not allowed to do and the responsibility to set an example, causing very serious consequences, very badly affecting the reputation of the Party organization, local government and the agency, working unit, to the extent that disciplinary action must be taken.

- Considering the content, nature, level, consequences, and causes of the violation; based on Party regulations, the Central Inspection Committee decided to impose a disciplinary warning on comrade Nguyen Thi Kim Chi and proposed that competent authorities consider and impose disciplinary action on comrades Tran Ngoc Thuan, Vo Van Chanh, and Nguyen Van Tien.

- The Central Inspection Committee requested the Standing Committee of Nghe An Provincial Party Committee to direct, review and handle other related individuals.

2 - Also at this Session, the Central Inspection Commission discussed and commented on the draft Model Procedure for implementing inspection and supervision by advisory and assisting agencies of Party committees; reviewed and resolved 05 cases of party disciplinary complaints and concluded a number of other important contents./.
