On the morning of November 18, Chairwoman of the City's Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee Nguyen Lan Huong and officers and employees of the City's Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee offered flowers at the statue of Uncle Ho - Uncle Ton, in Thong Nhat Park, Hai Ba Trung District.
This is an activity to celebrate the 94th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam National United Front, the traditional day of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (November 18, 1930 - November 18, 2024).
In front of the statue of Uncle Ho and Uncle Ton, the delegation of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the City respectfully expressed their infinite gratitude to the two great leaders - shining symbols of deep patriotism and love for the people.

The incense offering ceremony is an opportunity for the City's Front officials at all levels to express their deep gratitude to the two great leaders, and at the same time, affirm their determination to continue promoting the Front's work, contributing to building the Capital to become increasingly rich, beautiful, civilized and modern.
The staff of the Capital Front vows to unite, strive, study and follow the revolutionary moral example of the two beloved leaders who spent their lives being diligent, frugal, honest, upright, wholeheartedly serving the revolution and the people. Continue to strengthen, build and firmly consolidate the great national unity bloc, promote the creative spirit of all classes of people in building and defending the Fatherland.
During his revolutionary career, Uncle Ton spent 34 years leading the Front through different periods, including 5 years as Vice President of the Vietnam National Union (April 1946-March 1951), 4 years as President of the Lien Viet Front (March 1951-September 1955), 22 consecutive years as President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (September 1955-February 1977), 3 years as Honorary President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (February 1977-March 1980)...

Over 94 years of formation and development, through revolutionary periods, in all circumstances, the work of the Front in the capital has had many innovations in content and methods of operation, strongly oriented towards the grassroots. The City Front at all levels is truly the center of gathering the strength of the great national unity bloc; strengthening people's mobilization; promoting the role of the subject, potential, and creativity of the people to participate in patriotic emulation movements and campaigns; participating in building a clean and strong Party and political system; becoming a solid 'bridge' between the People and Party committees and authorities at all levels.
