Arts connect love, share difficulties

The Dong Nai Cultural and Cinema Center's Mobile Propaganda Team has been present in many wards and communes in remote areas and ethnic minority areas for a month since the province's merger to perform art, set up 0-dong booths and give gifts to people in difficult circumstances.

Not only bringing songs, propaganda messages and humane sharing, the Mobile Propaganda Team also contributes to lighting up joy, becoming a "bridge" connecting the government and the people.

When the artist's heart accompanies the people

At 8:00 a.m., a small car loaded with sound, props, lights and the excitement of the artists and actors of the Mobile Propaganda Team left Dong Nai Cultural - Cinema Center, Tan Bien Ward (old), now Long Binh Ward, on the way to Nam Do Hamlet, Dong Tam Commune. Although the journey was over 100km long, everyone was happy. On the car, there was laughter, some rehearsing the lyrics, some adjusting their costumes..., all sharing the same excitement of bringing songs to the people.

Arriving at the place when the sun was at its zenith, without any time to rest, the whole team rushed to assemble the stage, speakers, arrange tables and chairs and gifts for the people. A few actresses quickly sorted and folded each set of old clothes and shoes on the shelves of the Zero-Dong stall. It was not yet showtime but people, especially children and the elderly, were curious to see. A child eagerly asked: "Are you going to sing?", an old man standing behind the fence timidly then also approached, everyone's face was excited.

Amidst the applause of the people, the first performances began. Interspersed with the singing and dancing were short, lively and familiar skits, conveying the message about the effectiveness of the 2-level local government model and the Universal Education Program No.

The team leader of the Dong Nai Cultural and Cinema Center's Mobile Propaganda Team, Cao Thep, said: "The team does not only sing for people to enjoy the art, but also sings to connect the hearts of the artists with the people here. The team hopes that through the art performances and skits, the people will better understand their rights and responsibilities, and properly implement the Party's policies and the State's laws."

Along with performing and giving gifts to those in difficult circumstances, the Mobile Propaganda Team also livestreamed the program on Facebook so that those who could not attend in person could follow along. The live streams attracted thousands of views, comments and shares, creating a strong ripple effect of solidarity and mutual love in the community.

Mr. Ton Duc Thuan, who is in charge of connecting with online audiences, said: “Livestreaming not only helps spread art to the public, but also becomes a bridge connecting donors with those in difficult circumstances. Thanks to that, the team's mobile propaganda journey not only has cultural significance, but also spreads humanity, giving us more motivation to continue our mission.”

Ms. Ton Thi Thanh Tinh, Director of Dong Nai Cultural - Cinema Center, said: "In the coming time, the center will continue to coordinate with units and localities to expand the journey to many wards and communes in remote, border areas and workers in industrial parks; at the same time, mobilize donors to have more meaningful gifts, connect love and share with the people".

Zero-cost booth, small gift - great affection

At each destination, the Dong Nai Culture and Cinema Center's Mobile Propaganda Team also regularly organizes zero-dong booths as an indispensable part of each tour program. Hundreds of clothes, shoes and essential items have been classified and arranged neatly, ready to be sent to those who need them most. Not only children but also the elderly and workers in the localities find joy when coming to the zero-dong booths.

Ms. Ho Thi Le, a resident of Nam Do Hamlet, Dong Tam Commune, excitedly shared: “We are very happy to receive loving gifts, watch performances and participate in the 0 VND booth. The clothes are arranged very neatly, cleanly and especially there are enough types of clothes for both adults and children. Each person can choose the items they need. That makes us feel the respect, care and sharing that the units and localities bring.”

According to Mr. Cao Thep, with the motto of "bringing culture to the grassroots, spreading love to every citizen", the Mobile Propaganda Team constantly strives to innovate the content and form of expression, so that each program and each trip leaves a good impression in the hearts of the people. The team members always consider each performance location as a special meeting. Although the program only lasts a few short hours, all team members try to make each look and smile of the people become the motivation for their journey.

When the last performances ended, the whole team was busy cleaning up the props, speakers, tables, chairs and items of the Zero-VND Booth. When they arrived at the center late at night, everyone was exhausted after the long journey but their hearts were still filled with joy, because for the artists and actors, each trip is a meaningful journey, adding motivation to spread love to every countryside.
