( Bqp.vn ) - On the morning of December 13, in Hanoi, the Office of the Ministry of National Defense held a conference to review military work in 2024 and deploy tasks for 2025. Major General Nguyen Viet Tuyen, Chief of the Office of the Central Military Commission - Office of the Ministry of National Defense chaired the conference.

The report at the conference emphasized that in 2024, with the spirit of solidarity, proactiveness, creativity, striving, and overcoming all difficulties; the Party Committee and command of the Office of the Ministry of National Defense led and directed the Office of the Ministry of National Defense to comprehensively and synchronously implement tasks according to plan, successfully completing assigned tasks, with many tasks being excellently completed.
Specifically, the Office of the Ministry of National Defense has proactively coordinated, researched, and prepared well the contents to serve the Minister and Head of the Ministry of National Defense in attending the meetings of the Politburo , the National Assembly, and the Government; researched, synthesized, advised, and proposed to the Central Military Commission, the Standing Committee of the Central Military Commission, and the Head of the Ministry of National Defense to lead, direct, thoroughly grasp, and implement the Party's guidelines, policies, directives, and resolutions, and the State's policies and laws; synthesized and developed reports on the results of the implementation of defense and security tasks to the Central Government in accordance with regulations.

The Office of the Ministry of National Defense has also actively coordinated research, advised, and proposed to the Head of the Ministry of National Defense to lead, direct, and operate the work of ensuring national defense needs, meeting the requirements of the task of building the Army; coordinated with agencies to develop and issue circulars and instructions on the work of ensuring national defense needs, circulars on national standards in the military and defense fields; reported to the Standing Committee of the Central Military Commission on the construction and development of economic-defense zones, in order to strengthen military and defense potential, and the overall strength of protecting the Fatherland associated with the construction and development of agriculture and rural areas. Proactively coordinated with agencies and units to grasp the world and regional situation, promptly advised and proposed coordination to serve the Central Military Commission and the Head of the Ministry of National Defense to deploy all aspects of international integration and defense diplomacy with high efficiency.
Colonel Nguyen Duc Hai, Deputy Chief of Office of the Ministry of National Defense, launched the Emulation Movement for Victory in 2025.
In addition, the Office of the Ministry of National Defense has advised the Minister of National Defense to effectively perform the work of state management by law; maintain the progress and quality of the work of building and appraising legal documents, contributing to perfecting the legal system on military and national defense; promote foreign cooperation activities on law; organize the implementation of projects to disseminate legal education and legal documents to ensure progress and quality. Research and advise the Head of the Ministry of National Defense, the Steering Committee for Administrative Reform and Digital Transformation of the Ministry of National Defense to thoroughly grasp, deploy and fully and promptly implement resolutions, programs, plans, and directions of the Government, the Prime Minister, and instructions of ministries and functional branches; Develop and submit documents to create legal corridors, plans, and direct, guide, and organize the implementation of administrative reforms, control administrative procedures, digital transformation, apply ISO 9001:2015 standards, and implement Project 06 in the Ministry of National Defense.
The Office of the Ministry of National Defense has directed the Ministry of National Defense's Electronic Information Portal to proactively and promptly provide information and propaganda on leadership and direction activities in the implementation of military and defense tasks, building the Army Party Committee, defense foreign affairs, and command, management and operation activities of the Army. Take the lead in coordinating and promptly issuing and implementing documents of the Ministry of National Defense and the Office of the Ministry of National Defense on directing, operating, inspecting and urging the provision of public services in the Ministry of National Defense; effectively digitizing records and results of handling administrative procedures managed by the Ministry of National Defense. Maintain and operate the Ministry of National Defense's Public Service Portal, connecting 24/7 with the National Public Service Portal, providing convenient and effective online public information and services to serve organizations and individuals in performing administrative procedures.
The Head of the Office of the Ministry of National Defense awarded Certificates of Merit to collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in the 2024 Emulation Movement for Victory.
Concluding the conference, identifying key tasks for 2025, Major General Nguyen Viet Tuyen emphasized that the Office of the Ministry of National Defense focuses on preparing well the contents to serve the meetings of the Politburo, the National Assembly, and the Government; the full-term working program of the Central Military Commission and the Central Military Commission Standing Committee in 2025; conferences organized by the Central Military Commission Standing Committee and the Ministry of National Defense; working sessions of the Head of the Ministry of National Defense with Committees, Ministries, branches, and localities. Preside over and coordinate with agencies serving the Central Military Commission Standing Committee, the Central Military Commission, and the Head of the Ministry of National Defense to lead, direct, and operate the work of ensuring national defense needs; coordinate propaganda activities to celebrate major national holidays; coordinate in preparing contents to serve the 12th Army Party Congress and the 14th National Party Congress according to the tasks. Coordinate in advising, synthesizing, and building state management mechanisms on bidding, procurement, and import and export; Advise and propose the implementation of key projects and programs on defense economy and industry. Coordinate with agencies and units to synchronously deploy defense foreign affairs work in all fields; continue to focus on directing and urging the drastic and comprehensive implementation of all aspects of legal work. Advise the Minister of National Defense to perform state management by law; perform well the functions of the Standing Agency of the Steering Committee for Administrative Reform and Digital Transformation of the Ministry of National Defense; perform well the functions and tasks of providing official information of the Ministry of National Defense; integrate and share information on the Internet; perform online public services and tasks on e-Government, digital transformation, etc.
