This is the conclusion of Vice Chairman of Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee Bui Xuan Cuong at a field survey of key projects in the area.

Of which, Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road 3 is 76km long with a total investment of nearly 75,400 billion VND, the largest traffic project in the South, starting construction in June 2023.

As required, the above project must be implemented according to the timeline and progress to be completed on schedule as approved by the National Assembly and the Government.

Specifically, strive to open the main expressway route in Thu Duc City area on January 30, 2026; the remaining areas including Binh Chanh, Hoc Mon, and Cu Chi districts on April 30, 2026.

The Ho Chi Minh City Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board (the investor) is required to direct construction units to concentrate human resources, machinery, equipment, and supplement construction teams; actively and proactively deploy work with the spirit of working through holidays and Tet; only work, no back-and-forth... to strive to open the entire route to traffic on April 30, 2026.

Regarding the issue of lack of materials, the City People's Committee requested the investor and related parties to continue to closely monitor and resolve. Items such as the bridge and underpass sections are not affected by the lack of sand materials, and need to focus on construction to create high output, contributing to speeding up the project's disbursement progress.

In compensation for site clearance, Mr. Cuong reminded Thu Duc City and Binh Chanh District for the fifth time about the delay in handing over 100% of the clean site to the investor. He requested the chairmen of these two localities to handle the matter thoroughly and not allow further delays.
