On the occasion of the 135th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birth (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2025), the Kim Lien National Special Historical Relic Site - which preserves special relics about President Ho Chi Minh - welcomed millions of visitors to his birthplace.

The historical site still preserves familiar and simple landscapes and artifacts that vividly portray the homeland rich in traditions and cultural identity of Nghe An province, along with the loving family affection that contributed to shaping the character, morality, and ideology of Ho Chi Minh - the national liberation hero and outstanding cultural figure.
The entire Kim Lien Historical Site covers more than 205 hectares with many historical sites, some of which are located 2 to 10 km apart. These include the Hoang Tru historical site, the maternal birthplace of President Ho Chi Minh; the Lang Sen historical site, the paternal birthplace of President Ho Chi Minh; the tomb of Mrs. Hoang Thi Loan, President Ho Chi Minh's mother; and the Chung Son Temple (a temple dedicated to the ancestors of President Ho Chi Minh)... Photo: Hoang Lan On May 15th, a delegation from the Hanoi Department of Tourism visited President Ho Chi Minh's birthplace. The delegation received an introduction to the historical site. President Ho Chi Minh (1890-1969) was born into a patriotic Confucian family in his maternal hometown (Hoang Tru village, Kim Lien commune, Nam Dan district, Nghe An province). His father was Nguyen Sinh Sac, and his mother was Hoang Thi Loan. From May 15th to 17th, a delegation from the Hanoi Department of Tourism, with the participation of nearly 50 travel agencies, conducted a survey of historical sites, tourist attractions, and accommodation facilities in Nghe An province.
