Visit Uncle Ho's hometown

On the occasion of the 135th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2025), Kim Lien Special National Historical Relic Site - where special relics of President Ho Chi Minh are kept - welcomed millions of visitors to visit his hometown.

The relic site still preserves the familiar and simple landscape and artifacts, clearly depicting the homeland rich in tradition, the cultural identity of Nghe An and the love of the family that contributed to forming the personality, morality and ideology of Ho Chi Minh - the national liberation hero - an outstanding cultural celebrity.

The entire Kim Lien Relic Site is over 205 hectares wide with many relic sites, some of which are 2 to 10km apart, such as the Hoang Tru relic site, Uncle Ho's maternal hometown; the Lang Sen relic site, Uncle Ho's paternal hometown; the tomb of Mrs. Hoang Thi Loan, Uncle Ho's mother; Chung Son Temple (the temple worshipping President Ho Chi Minh's ancestors)... On May 15, a delegation from the Hanoi Department of Tourism visited Uncle Ho's hometown. The delegation listened to an introduction to the relic site. President Ho Chi Minh (1890 - 1969) was born into a patriotic Confucian family in his maternal hometown (Hoang Tru village, Kim Lien commune, Nam Dan district, Nghe An province).
