GAC Aion Y Plus 2025 Unveiled at a Competitive Price

In the Chinese market, the GAC Aion Y Plus 2025 costs only half the price of the car in Vietnam.

Chinese automaker GAC's sub-brand Aion has officially introduced a new version of its Y Plus electric SUV in the domestic market. In the upgraded version, the car has slight improvements in exterior and interior design, along with a more modern control system.

The notable change in the exterior is the redesigned taillight cluster, integrating the glowing logo of the Aion brand in the middle. Meanwhile, the dimensions of the car remain the same as the old version, including a length of 4,535 mm, a width of 1,870 mm, a height of 1,650 mm and a wheelbase of 2,750 mm.

With this size, the car is positioned in the C-size SUV segment despite its MPV-like appearance. Inside the 2025 GAC Aion Y Plus is still a 2-row interior space with 5 seats. The car's entertainment system has an upgraded user interface, improving the user experience.

This Chinese car supports Carlink/Hicar connectivity, allowing easy smartphone integration. The navigation system adds a traffic light countdown feature, which is very useful when moving in urban areas. In terms of comfort, both the front and rear seats can be folded completely flat. Meanwhile, the driver's seat is equipped with heating and ventilation functions.

The driving assistance system on the 2025 GAC Aion Y Plus includes automatic tailgate and adaptive cruise control, making driving more comfortable. The exterior rearview mirrors also have automatic folding and heating functions, enhancing convenience.

Under the hood, the car is equipped with an electric motor with two power levels of 100 kW (about 136 horsepower) and 150 kW (2024 horsepower), meeting daily use needs.

In addition, the car also has 3 battery types with capacities of 60 kWh, 70 kWh and 80 kWh. These 3 battery types provide a travel range of 460 km, 500 km and 600 km respectively according to NEDC standards.

In the Chinese market, the GAC Aion Y Plus 2025 has 4 versions with prices ranging from 99,800 - 123,800 Yuan (equivalent to 349 - 433 million VND). In Vietnam, this model was launched in 2024 with 1 version and a price from 888 million VND.
