BHG - On the morning of November 21, Vi Xuyen district launched the program "Eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses" for meritorious people and poor households in 18 communes of the district. Attending the groundbreaking ceremony at the household of Mr. Mung Van Chien, Na Qua village, Ngoc Linh commune were comrade Thao Hong Son, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; leaders of the Provincial Party Committee Office and Vi Xuyen district.

Implementing the direction of the Prime Minister on promoting the elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses nationwide and the Steering Committee for the elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses in Ha Giang province, the Steering Committee for the elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses in Vi Xuyen district directed communes and towns in the whole district to simultaneously organize and launch emulation campaigns to support the movement to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses for meritorious people and poor households in the district. After reviewing, Vi Xuyen still has 89 temporary and dilapidated houses that need to be rebuilt. With the highest political determination, strive to complete 89 houses before June 2025 to practically establish emulation achievements to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025) and welcome the 25th Congress of the Vi Xuyen District Party Committee, term 2025 - 2030. Newly built and repaired houses must ensure a minimum usable area of 30m2 or more and meet the 3 hard standards: hard foundation, hard frame - wall, hard roof, house life of 20 years or more, with full ancillary works such as kitchen, bathroom, toilet attached to the household premises.

Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Thao Hong Son presented 25 million VND to support Ms. Chau Thi Tung, Khuoi Kha village, Ngoc Linh commune to build a new house.

On the morning of November 21, 18 communes in the district simultaneously launched a campaign to build 24 new houses for poor households. Enterprises, organizations and individuals donated nearly 600 million VND to support families in building houses. This is an important political event, demonstrating the concern of the Party, the government and the whole society for people with meritorious services and poor households with housing difficulties; promptly encouraging, motivating and creating motivation for all classes of people, especially the poor and those in difficult circumstances to rise up in life.

The Steering Committee for Eliminating Temporary and Dilapidated Houses in Vi Xuyen District supported the family of Mr. Mung Van Chien, Na Qua village, Ngoc Linh commune with 60 million VND to build a new house.

In the morning, the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Council visited and inspected the house construction for Mrs. Chau Thi Tung's household in Khuoi Kha village, Ngoc Linh commune. This is a family with particularly difficult circumstances. Mrs. Tung is old and has to raise 2 young grandchildren. The Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Thao Hong Son personally presented Mrs. Chau Thi Tung's family with 25 million VND to expand the house construction area, ensuring solid housing for the 3 grandmothers and grandchildren; at the same time, he requested the local Party Committee, government and people in the village to actively help and complete the house construction before the Lunar New Year 2025. The political system of Ngoc Linh commune in particular and Vi Xuyen district in general focused on directing cadres, party members, armed forces and people to actively participate in building houses for 89 households with a competitive spirit and the highest determination; Strengthen direction, inspection and close supervision of progress and quality of housing construction according to regulations.
