Public teachers are allowed to teach outside of school but are not allowed to directly manage or operate tutoring facilities.

Non-public teachers and freelance teachers are also allowed to teach extra classes but are prohibited from teaching elementary school students cultural subjects (except for arts, sports , and life skills) and are not allowed to collect money from the students in their classes according to the official curriculum.
