Video of Russia bombing Ukrainian mortar unit.
The Russian Ministry of Defense has just released a video recording the scene of the Russian army destroying Ukrainian forces using artillery. Accordingly, the Russian army used artillery to target the Ukrainian mortar unit taking shelter.
"We detected the target with the help of drones. In this case, we aimed at the Ukrainian mortar unit's target," Sputnik quoted the commander of the Russian howitzer battalion as saying.
According to the officer, the Russian military fired 10 122mm artillery shells at the target, while the Ukrainian mortar unit took cover in a building. However, Ukraine also activated electronic warfare (EW) to disrupt the attack.
The Russia-Ukraine conflict continues without any end in sight, with both sides continuing to retaliate against each other recently. Many peace proposals have been put forward, but have yet to yield results due to differences in viewpoints between Russia and Ukraine.
The West continues to pump weapons into Ukraine to confront Russia. Moscow believes that the decision of the US and NATO countries to supply heavy weapons to Ukraine makes negotiations between Russia and Ukraine "meaningless".
Russia has repeatedly accused the US and its allies of deliberately trying to prolong the conflict, warning the West not to provide weapons to Ukraine, stressing that this would only escalate the conflict and cause unnecessary casualties without changing the situation of the war.
