For the past month, YouTubers Shevelle and Devan have been entertaining their YouTube channel Shev and Dev with clips documenting their journey in Vietnam. “A country with irresistible charm, the friendliest people in the world , delicious cuisine and the country that I think is the easiest to live in,” the South African couple introduced Vietnam in the video This is WHY we love Vietnam! First day back in Hanoi posted in early February. In the video, which has reached 93,000 views, Shevelle and Devan recounted their first visit to Vietnam more than a year ago, when they had many interesting experiences. During that time, the couple went to Ho Chi Minh City - where they had the opportunity to join a motorbike food tour, take a 20-hour cruise from Da Nang to Hanoi, and even take a boat trip on Ha Long Bay. This time, the two returned with great enthusiasm. “You ask me why I love this place so much, what’s the big deal? Well, have you ever had pho? Have you ever had egg coffee?”, Shevelle said in the video.

Next, the couple had a great time riding a cyclo around Hanoi's Old Quarter. Devan even asked the cyclo driver to let him ride a bit. "What I love about Hanoi is that it's crowded, noisy, and the cars honk loudly, but it's a chaos in its own right," Devan said. Shevelle and Devan's video attracted many likes and comments, many of whom expressed their love for Hanoi. "I miss Hanoi so much. We stayed there for a year and Hanoi is one of our favorite cities in the world. The food is delicious, the people are lovely. I can't wait to go back next year," one person commented. In the video about Hanoi, in addition to the Old Quarter, Hoan Kiem Lake, and egg coffee, Shevelle and Devan also revealed to viewers that this time back in Vietnam, they will spend a lot of time traveling and exploring the "crazy adventures" they've always wanted to do.
