Vietnam won 3 medals at the 2023 International Biology Olympiad

Specifically, the Silver Medal of the 2023 International Biology Olympiad of the Vietnamese Team belongs to Nguyen Tien Loc, a grade 11 student of the High School for Gifted Students of Natural Sciences , University of Natural Sciences, Vietnam National University, Hanoi.

The 2 Bronze Medals of the 2023 International Biology Olympiad of the Vietnamese Team belong to Tran Pham Manh, a 12th grade student of the High School for the Gifted in Natural Sciences, University of Natural Sciences, Vietnam National University, Hanoi and Vu The Anh, a 12th grade student of Vinh Phuc High School for the Gifted, Vinh Phuc Province.

The 34th International Biology Olympiad 2023 will be held at UAE National University in Al Ain City, UAE from July 2 to July 11, 2023 with the participation of 80 countries, territories and 2 observer countries, with a total of 295 contestants.

According to the regulations of the 2023 International Biology Olympiad, students will take 4 practical exams (Biochemistry, Bioinformatics, Plant Molecular Biology, Ecology and Behavior) on one exam day; 2 theoretical exams on two different days. This year's exam is considered interesting and good but difficult, long and contains a lot of new knowledge for Vietnamese candidates.

With the results of 1 Silver Medal and 2 Bronze Medals at the 2023 International Biology Olympiad, the Vietnamese national team continues to maintain the result of 100% of candidates winning Medals.
